What is a no show?
An appointment that is not cancelled at least 24 hours in advance will be registered as a no show.
Consequences of a no show
No shows can negatively affect your health and recovery. In addition, we consider a no show to be a waste of healthcare resources, as the time reserved by your practitioner cannot be used optimally and other patients may consequently have to wait longer for care.
In the event of a no show without (timely) notice, you will receive a no show invoice of €50. Please note that your health insurance provider will not reimburse a no show invoice.
In the event of a third no show, your treatment program will be terminated and all future appointments will be cancelled. We will also inform your referring healthcare provider. After a period of six months, you may, if you wish, reapply to our clinic with a valid referral.
Even in cases of force majeure, illness, or other unforeseen circumstances, we are unable to make exceptions to our no show policy.
How can you avoid a no show invoice?
- Reschedule or cancel your appointment at least 24 hours in advance, preferably by telephone via 050 211 53 73.
- If possible, convert your appointment to a telephone or online consultation. Note: it depends on your appointment if this is possible.
Repeated cancellations
If you cancel your appointment in time, no no show registration will be recorded. However, repeated cancellations may affect your treatment. Adherence to treatment is important for effective therapy and achieving treatment goals.
