What is a no show?
A missed appointment without timely cancellation (at least 24 hours in advance) is called a ‘no show’.
Consequences of a no show > invoice €50,-
No-shows can negatively impact your own health condition. Additionally, a no show is considered a waste of healthcare resources, as the reserved time of your practitioner cannot be optimally utilized, and you are not making use of the offered treatment to support your recovery.
If you do not notify us (in time) of a no show, you will receive a no show invoice of €50. Please note: your health insurer does not reimburse a no show invoice.
You will receive the invoice even in cases of force majeure, illness, or other unforeseen circumstances. No matter how understandable the reason may be, we cannot make exceptions to waive the no show invoice.
How can you avoid a no show invoice?
- Reschedule or cancel your appointment at least 24 hours in advance.
- Convert your appointment into a telephone or digital consultation.
For Monday appointments, we kindly ask you to cancel by 5:00 PM on the preceding Friday, preferably by phone at +31(0)50-2115373.
Repeated cancellations
If you cancel in time, you will not receive an invoice. However, repeated cancellations may affect your treatment, as therapy adherence influences the effectiveness of the therapy. If you cancel three times within your treatment process, we will discuss your cancellations and treatment motivation with you. This may result in the termination of the treatment.
